5. The Consulting Engineers are unwilling to rece similar protective works at the Northern Entrance as the ce of such works owing to the depth of water would be very considerable. Loreover the entrance is naturally protected
to some extent by Stonecutter laland and the same difficult have not occurred here as at the Southern end. They indica however in dotted lines on the plan the works which they consider should be undertaken in order fully to protect the Northern entrance. These works are of a similar nature to those recommended for the Southern entrance.
